and General Info

Opening Times and Hub fees

  • The hub operates during term time only, and is £7.50 per child.
  • Sibling discounts are available. Please email kate@schoolzathome.co.uk for further details.
  • Please ensure you are on time to collect your child/children. Pudsey House run a variety of groups daily, and the turn-around time after each group is minimal. Please also avoid coming to the hub any earlier than the designated time, as there may be groups in beforehand.

Payment Policy and Details

  • All payments need to be made prior to each session via the website, ideally on the Friday before. If you would like to pay cash, please email kate@schoolzathome.co.uk
  • Schoolz at Home do not accept cheques or childcare vouchers.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you have already paid and your child cannot attend please let Schoolz At Home know 48hrs before the session, so your child’s place can be offered to other children on the waiting list, or advertised if necessary.
  • If you do not advise that you cannot attend and have already paid, a refund cannot be issued.

Pudsey House and Hub Activities

  • Different activities will be available each week, and appropriate for the age range that will be attending.
  • There may be activities that will incur extra charges, but your child/children are not obliged to take part in anyway. One weeks’ notice will be given if there are activities that involve an extra fee.
  • Pudsey House is a community building, and many groups operate from here. Children and adults are not allowed to enter the kitchen unless they are authorised to do so. If you require anything from the kitchen area, please ask a member of staff.

Parents and Carers with Children Under 5

  • Parents with children under the age of 5 are welcome in the hub, but they are your responsibility to supervise them. As we are still in the process of developing the hub, we do not have the staffing levels to care for children under the age of 5.
  • If parents wish to stay with their children, please limit to 1 parent only. This is to keep the amount children and adults in the room to a minimum.
  • The maximum number of children that can attend the hub at any one time is 15 (depending on age). Thank you for understanding.
